Kathmandu. Nepal Communist Party UML has elected 16 MPs proportionally. The UML central secretariat meeting held today has elected Bhumika Subba, Gangadevi Shrestha, Ram Bahadur Thapamgar and Kulbhakta Shakya from the tribals. According to Deputy General Secretary Lekhraj Bhatt, Padma Aryal, Tukabhadra Hamal, Yashuda Kumari Baral, Guru Prasad Baral and Pushparaj Kandel have been selected for Khas Arya.

Similarly, Kriparam Rana from the Tharu community, Bishnumaya Vick and Neeta Ghatani from the Dalit community and Ringla Yadav, Yashoda Kumari Yadav and Chandreshwar Mandal from the Madhesi community have been selected. Sajida Siddiqui has been selected from the Muslim community. The meeting expressed its condolences to the bereaved family members who expressed grief over the death of Mohan Prasad Oli, father of party president KP Sharma Oli.
