UML, central leaders will address protests today in all districts

Kathmandu. CPN-UML is holding public demonstrations in all districts of the country today. It is planned that the central leaders of UML will address public meetings held in all district headquarters or big cities. Rajendra Gautam, head of UML's publicity and publication department, who is deployed in all central member districts, informed about this.

UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel Nepalgunj, Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali Gulmi, Deputy General Secretary Prithvisubba Gurung will address the public meeting in Lamjung. Similarly, UML said that secretary Chabilal Vishwakarma will address the public meeting in Rupandehi and secretary Padma Aryal in Birtamode.
UML has raised three issues in the public meeting. First, Parliament is said to be restored. Secondly, it has demanded to investigate the criminal incidents that happened on August 23rd and 24th during the Genji demonstration. Thirdly, the UML is of the opinion that those involved in vandalism, looting and arson during the Genji movement should be prosecuted.
