kathmandu : Two more people have been arrested for their involvement in the 'fake rescue' in the mountain climbing area. The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested 28-year-old Sandeep Tiwari, representative of Thamel-based Royal Holidays Adventure and Travel Company Pvt. According to the Bureau, Tiwari of Dhading's Jamalukhi Rural Municipality 2 was arrested on Tuesday and Singh of Kathmandu 31 was arrested on Wednesday. 

Shiv Kumar Shrestha, spokesperson of the Bureau, said that 9 people including trekking company, rescue company, hospital, Nepalese employees of foreign insurance and helicopter company shareholders have been arrested on the charge of fake rescue. It has been seen in the Bureau's investigation that they rescued foreign tourists who had health problems while hiking in the high Himalayan region and claimed the insurance money and obtained financial benefits illegally.
