Two laborers missing in Trishuli River, armed divers searching

Kathmandu. Two workers working at Super Trishuli Hydropower have gone missing in the Trishuli river. On Saturday afternoon, they went missing while bathing in the Trishuli river near the suspension bridge of Kuringhat located in Ichchakamana-4 of Chitwan. According to police, the missing persons are 21-year-old Shankar Chaudhary of Geruwa rural municipality-2 Bansara of Bardia and 22-year-old Saurabh Tharu of Rajapur municipality.

Chitwan olice said that the search for the missing youth is ongoing since this morning. After finding clothes, mobile phones, slippers and lighters on the bank of Trishuli river, the police started the search operation. A team including divers from Armed Police Force Disaster Management Training School Kuringhat has been mobilized to search for them.
