Triangular one-day cricket series in Nepal has been postponed due to Middle East tensions
Kathmandu. The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced that the triangular one-day series scheduled to be held in Nepal under the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 has been postponed. In view of the current situation in the Middle East, the series has been postponed for the time being, according to a press release issued by CAN today.
The tournament was scheduled to be held from February 26 to Chait 6, which was scheduled to be held at the University Grounds in Kirtipur. The series includes UAE and Oman along with Nepal. According to CAN spokesperson Chumbi Lama, the new date of the postponed match of the said competition will be announced soon after necessary consultation. He said that the match schedule will be rescheduled after evaluating the situation.
