Transportation has resumed on some major highways that had been blocked.
Kathmandu: Transportation has resumed on some highways in various parts of the country that had been blocked due to floods and landslides brought on by recent rainfall. Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Avinarayan Kafle said that traffic has resumed on the Kantilokpath road section at Bhalkhola in Ward No. 3 of Bagmati Rural Municipality in Lalitpur, which had been blocked by a landslide accompanying Monday evening’s rain; the Hangangdang Thukimba-Dobhan inner road section in Ward No. 5 of Meringden Rural Municipality in Taplejung; the Araniko Highway, which had been blocked by the Eku landslide at Kodari in Ward No. 2 of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchok; and the Kantilokpath road section at Bharyangdanda in Ward No. 8 of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality in Makwanpur.
