Transfer of CDOs of 6 districts
Kathmandu. The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred and posted eight officials including the Chief District Officer CDO of 6 different districts. According to the ministerial decision on Monday 12 October, the duties of the CDOs of six districts and the assistant chief district officers and assistant CDOs of two districts have been changed, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to the decision of the Ministry, the responsibilities of the joint secretary and deputy secretary level employees have been changed. As part of this transfer process, the chief district officers of some districts have been pulled to the ministry, while the officials working in the ministry and other districts have been entrusted with the administrative leadership of the new district.
Similarly, the ministry has also transferred and appointed new assistant chief district officers of two districts. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, this change has been made as part of the regular process to make administrative operations more efficient and agile.
