Kathmandu. In Nepal, there is influence of western air and local air and low pressure area near the eastern part of Nepal. According to the Weather Forecast Division, the Himalayan and hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces including Koshi Province and the mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces are generally cloudy.

According to the Division, it is partly cloudy in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Madhesh Province and the rest of the Lumbini Province and mainly clear in the rest of the Terai region. Moderate to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring at a few places in Koshi and Gandaki regions and light rain is occurring at one or two places in Bagmati region.

It will be generally cloudy over Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions this afternoon. It will be partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Madhesh Province and the rest of the province, while the rest of the Terai region will be mostly clear.
