Kathmandu. CPN-UML is selecting representatives across the country today for the eleventh congress. UML central office informed that representatives will be selected by voting from 8 am to 2 pm. For this, on November 11th, candidates have been nominated for representative elections in all constituencies. During that time, in some constituencies, convention representatives have been selected on the same day.
According to Rajendra Gautam, Head of UML's Central Publicity and Publication Department, around 2,000 representatives including women, Dalits and youth are being elected from the federal constituencies. Similarly, around 100 representatives will be selected from migration, people's organizations and departments. About 2200 delegates will participate in the eleventh convention of UML after being nominated. The proposal recommended by the Central Organization Department for the selection of representatives has already been passed by the party secretariat and sent to the subordinate committees.
