Today is the lowest temperature of this year in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. The cold has been increasing in recent days. In some districts of Terai, schools have started to be closed due to heavy rain and fog. Snowfall continues in the Himalayan region. Temperature and weather are continuing to fluctuate in Kathmandu Valley and other districts. At the same time, the temperature of Kathmandu today is the lowest recorded this year. 

According to Meteorologist Hari Prasad Dahal, the minimum temperature of Kathmandu today has decreased by almost two degrees compared to yesterday. The minimum temperature was 6.8 degrees yesterday, but today it has dropped to 4.9 degrees. He said that this record is the lowest minimum temperature in Kathmandu this year.  Last December 28th, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu dropped to five degrees.

According to him, today there is heavy fog and fog in many areas of the Terai region of the country. The weather is clear in the Himalayan region. He said that there is no possibility of more rain and snowfall. Meteorologist Dahal said, "This season of Tarai is the time for fog and fog, mainly there is no rain system, the western wind has not been active, due to lack of rain, fog has started to increase." Today, the lowest temperature in Jumla is minus three degrees.
