Today is the 13th National Dress and Hat Day

Kathmandu. The 13th National Dress and Hat Day is being celebrated today by organizing various programs organized by various youth organizations. The youth started celebrating this day for the last 13 years with the slogan 'Nepali hat: our identity'. National Dress and Topi Day has been started since 2070 to establish Daura, Suruwal, Topi and Gunyu Choli, which are the identity of Nepali, among the youth.

On the occasion of the day, many people have posted photos of themselves wearing national costumes on social media. National Dress Day was celebrated on January 1 for 13 years, it is said to have helped in the renaissance of national dress. After the practice of celebrating national dress in the past was formally removed, the youth spontaneously started this campaign. On this occasion, special programs have been organized at various places in the capital today.
