Tight security in Pashupati area on Haritalika Teej, 9 thousand people visited

Kathmandu. On the occasion of Haritalika Teej, security has been tightened in Pashupatinath temple area in Kathmandu. In view of the crowd of pilgrims, Nepal Police and Armed Police have conducted services including security, rescue, health, drinking water and traffic management.

All the four gates of the Pashupatinath temple were opened from 3:15 am onwards. According to the police, about 9 thousand pilgrims have visited Pashupatinath till 7 am. Similarly, around 3 thousand pilgrims are in line for darshan.
