Three mountaineers were buried when a huge snowdrift fell

Kathmandu. Three mountaineers have died in a severe avalanche in the Aragon region of Spain. This tragic accident happened at Tablato peak near Panthicosa in northern Spain at around 1 pm local time.

According to the Civil Guard of Spain, two men and one woman died. A group of mountaineers from the Basque region were buried in a landslide when a large snow mass broke off at an altitude of about 2,700 meters. Government representative Fernando Beltran has informed that this accident happened due to the fall of a huge block of snow.

Three other people from the group were rescued safely. One of the rescued women is being treated for minor injuries and hypothermia, while the other two men are safe.
