Three of his associates have been arrested by the police. All the three arrested said that they were Prakash's bodyguards. In the letter sent by Pathak, who claims to be the president of the extremist group 'Extremist Group of Nepal', there is a warning that 10 people will be killed, including Rai.

In that list, the former head of the authority Lokmansingh Karki, the former executive director of Nepal Oil Corporation Gopal Khadka, the Congress leader and former home minister Ramesh Akhtar, the three former police chiefs involved in the Sudan scandal, Om Vikram Rana, Hem Bahadur Gurung and Ramesh Chand Thakuri have also received such threats.
In the same way, the wife of Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba and former foreign minister Arju Rana, former home minister Balkrishna Khan and medical professional Durga Prasai have also been warned. In the letter sent by the reader, it is also revealed who was threatened and why.

In this way, after receiving the threatening letter and the video being made public, the authority has lodged a report at the district police complex in Kathmandu for investigation. After receiving the complaint four days ago, various units including the Kathmandu Police are investigating. The security of these people has been increased.

As the investigation in the case against Pradeep Adhikari, Director General of Nepal Civil Aviation Authority (CAN) has reached its final stage, such a threatening letter has come to the Authority. The threatening group also mentioned some topics related to this case, and the police suspected that those people may have been mobilized by the authorities.
