Main News Image

Kathmandu. Hark Sampang, chairman of the Labor Culture Party, has accused the current government of not being poor-friendly. Speaking to reporters at Surkhet Airport on Saturday, President Sampang said that it was irresponsible for the government not to open its mouth even when the citizens were affected by the high prices. He argued that the government is not in favor of the poor because of the government's crackdown on squatters. Sampang expressed his displeasure with Prime Minister Walendra Shah's actions and expressions.

He stressed that the prime minister should be accountable to the parliament and the people. Pointing out that the statement made by Prime Minister Shah on the border issue was controversial and wrong, he demanded that it be corrected or confirmed.
