Third drone attack on Kuwait oil refinery, Middle East tensions escalated
Kathmandu. Amidst the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Kuwait's government oil refinery has been attacked for the third time. According to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, a drone attack was carried out on the Mina Al-Ahmadi oil refinery. After the attack, a fire broke out in the center and the emergency team has brought the situation under control. The company explained the incident as a malicious attack.
The Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery is considered one of the largest in the Middle East, which has the capacity to process approximately 346,000 barrels of oil per day. Meanwhile, as the regional tension continues to increase, Iran has launched a missile attack on Israel. The attack took place just hours after US President Donald Trump warned of tough military action against Iran.
