These are provisional voters who vote for members of the House of Representatives

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has determined the names of those who will be included in the temporary voter list for the House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21. According to the commission, the employees of Nepal government, state government, local level and organizations owned or controlled by Nepal government or state government whose names are in the final voter list will remain as temporary voters.

Similarly, the Nepali Army, Nepal Police or Armed Police, detainees and prisoners in prisons, election staff and security personnel will also remain as temporary voters.

Persons residing in old age homes operated by Nepal government, provincial government or local level or operated with the approval of that government, heads and officials of constitutional bodies will also remain as temporary voters. There is a provision for the election commissioner to review the voter list in the composition of the temporary voter list coordination committee.

In this committee, the Secretary of the Election Commission, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration will be members. It is arranged that the joint secretaries of all divisions of the Election Commission shall be senior commuting authorized members of the Commission. Likewise, the voter roll and election management branch or the deputy secretary as specified will be the member secretary.


Similarly, in the district, under the coordination of the chief district officer, the head of the security agency in the district, the head of the district jail will be a member. It has been arranged that the election officer will be the member secretary.
