The Kathmandu. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of the country today. There is a possibility of heavy rain as the monsoon trough is slightly to the north of Sarder point. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be generally cloudy weather throughout the country. Moderate to rather heavy rain is likely to occur at many places in the hilly and mountainous regions.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Bolangir and Bargarh. Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the hilly terrain and low-lying areas of Lumbini and Far-Western Province.
