The tea industry will be closed due to Indian barriers!
Elam. The tea industry in Suryodaya region of Elam is going to be closed after India tightens the Nepalese tea market. Suryodaya Orthodox Tea Producers Association Nepal, to which Tripanna Industry is affiliated, has announced the closure of the industry from June 1. According to the organization, more than 300,000 kilos of Nepali tea that has reached the Indian market is stuck in the name of quality testing, while more than 700,000 kilos of ready-made tea is stored in the industry. Dilli Shrestha, president of the association, said that the industry could not be operated after the storage capacity was filled.
"We have made ready-made tea by processing green leaves bought from farmers, but it has not been sold in the market. Even the storage space has been filled', President Shrestha said, 'Payment to farmers cannot be stopped, so there is no other option but to close the industry.'
