The second edition of Parajuli's historical novel 'Bakhan' was released
Kathmandu. The second edition of the historical novel "Bakhan" created by senior storyteller and journalist Vasant Parajuli has been published. The book published by Shikha Books Pvt Ltd was released on Tuesday by Shriom Shrestha, the president of Sriom Shrestha Samaj Nepal, writer Jaidev Bhattarai, Menaka Chapagain and others.
On this occasion, the Managing Director of Shikha Publications, Pushparaj Paudel informed that the novel 'Bakhan' is one of the most preferred works among the general readers. He said, the demand for 'Bakhan' novel is high. Kriti is the choice of Nepali speakers in the country and abroad.
In the novel, the history of Chitwan, the Bandipur Revolution of 2007 and the Bharatpur Revolution of 2018 have been presented accurately in a factual and literary style in simple language.
