The risk of flooding in Bhotekoshi

The Kathmandu. There has been news of relief for the citizens of the coastal areas who have been troubled by the increased flow of water in the Bhotekoshi River. The Flood Forecasting Division under the Department of Water and Meteorology has clarified that there is no risk of major flood in the areas around the rivers of Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading at present.
The Division issued an update at 5: 45 am today, based on the latest information received from the District Police Office Rasuwa, informing that there is no immediate threat of major flooding in the area.

According to the Division, the water level of the Bhotekoshi River has increased slightly in the Nuwakot area, but it has not been found to be large.
