Meteorologist Vinod Pokharel has said that the rain system will be activated in western Nepal from Thursday evening. According to Pokharel, who is also an associate professor of water and meteorology at Tribhuvan University, there may be thunder and lightning showers in many places on Friday and Saturday.

He also said that this rain may be heavy. Pokharel says that there is a possibility of good rains in Kathmandu and Madhes province this time.
