The Prithviraj highway is closed for four hours daily
Kaski. The Prithviraj highway will be closed for four hours daily from today till the 11th of November. As the 'grader launching' work of the under-construction bridge at Pokhara's Vijayapur River, which is on the way, will begin, it has been requested to use an alternative road. Muglin-Pokhara Road Plan West section has said that the road will be closed from 6 AM to 8 AM and from 12 PM to 2 PM.
Planning chief Krishna Bahadur Kumbar informed that since the road will be partially closed for four hours every day, vehicles entering and exiting Pokhara via Prithvi Highway have been requested to use alternative routes. He also informed that after looking at the situation, the queued traffic can be cleared every 30 minutes.
Kunwar, the head of planning, said, 'We have requested all concerned for traffic management as the vehicles coming from Pokhara to Talchok via Vijaypur and the same route have to be completely closed. Drivers have been requested to travel through alternative roads at the specified time.
