The pretense that police and CDO are at hand should be abandoned: Chairman Lamichhane
Kathmandu. Ravi Lamichhane, the chairman of the National Independent Party RSWP, has emphasized that after reaching the leadership of the country, he must demonstrate a high political character. He said that the leaders and workers should not get drunk because the people have entrusted the party with a big responsibility through the election.
Speaking at a program organized in Chitwan on Friday, President Lamichhane said that the society is constantly analyzing the workings of the party and the government. He made it clear that the trend of showing oneself in the mirror instead of seeing one's face cleanly in the mirror shown by the society cannot be a political character.
Pointing out the need for the leadership to live up to the high political character and responsibility expected by the people, he indicated that some people have become arrogant after receiving a large popular vote.
