Kathmandu. The Nepali delegation led by Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is going to participate in the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations. Today's meeting of the Council of Ministers has given approval to the Nepali delegation to participate in the General Assembly.
In the decision of the Council of Ministers, it is said, "to grant approval to the Nepali delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to participate in the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations to be held in New York, USA." Nepal became a member of the United Nations in 1955. Since then, Nepal has been regularly participating in the General Assembly.
