Kathmandu. The Nagdhunga-Sisnekhola Tunnel, Nepal’s first modern transport tunnel, is being prepared for full commercial operation from the second week of next Saun. Providing information on the project’s current progress and operational plan, Project Chief Saujanya Nepal said that the technical trial tests are expected to be completed by the end of next Jestha, with the goal of opening regular vehicular movement from Saun.
This latest status of the project was made public during an on-site inspection carried out on Monday by a team led by Ashish Gajurel, Chair of the Infrastructure Development Committee of the House of Representatives.
