The Ministry's instructions to health workers not to take leave except in urgent cases and to be on high alert

Kathmandu. To deal with the emergency situation after the devastating floods and landslides in Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river areas, the Ministry of Health and Population has given strict instructions to all employees working in the health sector not to take leave and not accept work except in urgent cases.

The Administration and Management Branch of the Ministry issued an instructional statement on Friday, paying tribute to those who lost their lives due to floods and landslides, and asked its subordinates to be on alert around the clock to make the ongoing search, rescue, health treatment and relief work more effective in the affected areas.
