Kathmandu. The government has decided to provide a lump sum of Rs 25,000 as a relief to the families who will be displaced after the removal of hazardous settlements on the banks of various rivers in Kathmandu Valley. The cabinet meeting held at Singhdarbar on Tuesday afternoon decided to provide the amount for the management and rehabilitation expenses of the displaced persons.

Informing about the decisions of the meeting, Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Sasmit Pokharel said that details of actual displaced people will be collected and collected during the removal of settlements in unsafe and risky areas along the river.
