The government repressed, we will not tolerate it: Genji representative

Kathmandu. Genji representatives have accused the government of suppressing the peaceful demonstration and warned of strict action if the imprisoned friends are not released immediately. On Saturday, the Genji representatives who had gathered for a peaceful protest at Maitighar were arrested by the police and they expressed anger against the government.

Speaking at a press conference, representative Manjana Rai said, now we will be forced to take new steps. We will not back down. If the imprisoned friends are not released, we will be forced to take another step. She complained about the indifference of the government and said it was objectionable that Genji's demands were not met.

Bhojpur's Genji representative Sagar Tamang said, "We will not tolerate this kind of government, which does not allow us to be unified, even stops the unification campaign. Our demands must be met quickly. They also informed that there is a plan to continue the movement to end the oppressive policy of the government and fulfill the demands of Genji.
