The government is financially weak, not much work has been done: Minister Gupta

Kathmandu. Youth and Sports Minister Bablu Gupta has said that the government is not able to do essential work due to its financial weakness. In the road accident reduction awareness volunteering program organized on the occasion of International Volunteer Day 2025, he said that there is a lot of work to be done in terms of physical infrastructure, but the government is currently financially weak. He said that he will move forward by solving the problems as long as the resources allow.
He said, "There are some things that the government needs to do about physical structures, there are also things related to traffic lights and lanes." But the government is not able to do all the work if it wants to because it is in a weak financial situation. We have to solve the problems as much as possible with the resources we have and move forward.
Similarly, he said that traffic and drivers should have a positive attitude towards each other, if there is no positive attitude, it will be difficult to implement the road accident reduction awareness program.
