The government has suspended health insurance services in private hospitals except for emergencies
Kathmandu. The Health Insurance Board has suspended health insurance services in private health institutions except for emergencies, saying that there is a financial crisis. Shakuntala Prajapati, Acting Executive Director of the Board issued a notice and mentioned that the health insurance service has been suspended in private health institutions except for emergencies, with effect from 16th May.
In view of the growing financial crisis, the board had decided to suspend health insurance services in private hospitals except for emergencies from the meeting held on 11th May.
