Kathmandu. Professionals in the information technology and software services sector have requested the government to give high priority to the IT industry through the budget of the next financial year 2083 and 84.
The pre-budget recommendation submitted by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies NAS IT to the government covers topics ranging from tax reform to institutional restructuring, education, employment, cyber security and export promotion. The organization said that a long-term and competitive policy arrangement is necessary to develop the IT sector as the main basis of Nepal's economic transformation.
