The expenditure limit of candidates in the election of members of the National Assembly was set

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has determined the limit of expenditure for the election of members of the National Assembly. The commission has determined the limit that the candidate can spend in the National Assembly member election equal to 350,000. The Commission has set the limit of expenses to be 1000 for the purchase of voter list, 70000 for vehicles, 10000 for vehicle fuel, and 14500 for campaign materials. Similarly, 10,000 for transportation, 100,000 for conference interaction, 14,500 for other publicity, printing and electronic media can be spent.

Similarly, they will be allowed to spend 70,000 for office operation, 30,000 for representative operation and 30,000 for various topics. Election of members of the National Assembly will be held on January 11th. The Commission has instructed the candidate to open a separate account in a bank or financial institution for election expenses. In addition, spending should only be done from that account and the officials responsible for spending should be appointed and the details should be reported to the election officer and the election office.

After the completion of the election, the candidates should publish their expenditure details and submit them to the commission or the relevant state election office within 30 days from the date of the announcement of the election results. The Election Commission has requested all the candidates to adhere to the prescribed expenditure limit for free, fair and dignified elections.
