The election office is preparing for the election
Tanahun. The District Election Office Tanahun is preparing for the election of members of the House of Representatives to be held on February 21. The office has accelerated the work of registration of voter list, correction of errors, relocation and other preparations. District Election Officer Bikas Lamsal informed that the internal work has been carried out rapidly for the preparation of the election. Lamsal informed that if there is a need to increase or decrease the number of polling stations and polling places within the district, it has been decided to make a recommendation for that.
He said, "The district polling station and polling center recommendation committee under the coordination of the chief district officer has decided to proceed with the recommendation of the ward polling station and polling center in any ward if there is a need to add polling stations or move voters." There are 350 polling stations in the two House of Representatives constituencies of Tanahun. As of August 8, 2082, there are 247,474 voters in the district. Among them, the number of men is 119 thousand 89 and the number of women is 127 thousand 915.
