The Election Commission has designated polling stations for the National Assembly elections

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has designated polling places and centers for the National Assembly member elections to be held on January 11. On Wednesday, the Commission informed that polling places have been determined for all the seven provinces. According to Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Commission, there will be polling stations in the capitals of all the seven provinces.

Arrangements have been made to have two polling stations in the designated polling places. These polling stations are designated a for the members of the provincial assembly and b for the chairperson, vice chairperson and head and deputy head of the municipality. In the election, it is arranged that the electorate, which consists of the members of the provincial assembly, the chairperson and vice chairperson of the rural municipality, and the head and deputy head of the municipality, will vote.
