The design of a new one rupee coin with the Chuchche map of Nepal is ready
Kathmandu. The government has prepared a design for a new one-rupee coin featuring a Chuchche map of Nepal and a picture of Akash Bhairav. According to the Ministry of Finance, this design, which includes symbols reflecting the national identity, has been approved by the meeting of the Council of Ministers and is being prepared to be implemented.
The Ministry has informed that the process of printing new coins will be started and brought into circulation as soon as the official decision is made by the Council of Ministers.
