Kathmandu. The ruling National Independent Party (RASP) has decided to fully support the government without creating a separate mechanism for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of flood victims. The secretariat meeting chaired by Chairman Ravi Lamichhane at the party's central office Vanasthali on Thursday came to the conclusion that maintaining political and national consensus in this difficult time of disaster will help make the work of the government more effective.

Secretariat member Lima Adhikari informed that there was an intensive discussion about disaster management and relief distribution for one and a half hours in the meeting.
