The court did not give a deadline to keep Durga Prasai in custody, but she was released
Kathmandu. Durga Prasai was released after the Bhaktapur District Court did not allow him to be detained. When he appeared in court on Monday, he was ordered to be kept out of custody for investigation. DSP Deepak Karki of District Police Complex Bhaktapur informed that he was released after that order.
He anounced the protest against the government by holding a press conference on Sunday afternoon. After the announcement, the police reached his house in Bhaktapur at night. Prasai's wife Uma filed a writ of arrest in the Supreme Court on Monday after the police seized the necessary supplies and arrested him.
