The bail of the second one is forfeited
Kathmandu. Rupandehi-3 RSVP candidate Dr. When Lekhjang Thapa won the election, he confiscated the security deposit of all the competing candidates except himself. When Thapa won the election here, even the candidate who came second in competition with him could not save his bail.
Around 90,000 votes were cast here. 10 percent of the total Sadar votes must be brought to save the bail. However, Congress's Sushil Gurung, who came second here, got only 8,435 votes. UML's Vasudev Ghimire, who came third, got 8,275 votes. All 35 candidates except Thapa, who won with 58,814 votes, had their bail forfeited.
