Kathmandu. The removal of encroached settlements on the banks of Bagmati and tributary rivers in Kathmandu sub-region continues on Saturday as well. Today, in conjunction with the federal government and the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, the houses on the banks of the Bishnumati River and the Dhobi Khola River at Kampa-16 Balaju are being removed.

Kathmandu Assistant Chief District Officer Muktiram Rizal said that the work of removing encroached houses in Kampa-15 Swayambhu area is continuing. "The work of removing illegal structures in Swayambhu, Balaju-Gongbu Bus Park, Devinagar and other areas is going on," he said.
