Kathmandu. Representatives of 53 countries have supported the four proposals put forward by Nepal to reduce the crisis caused by climate change in the Himalayan region and to protect the mountains. Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Virajbhakt Shrestha has said that the crisis caused by climate change in the Himalayan region will not be limited to the geographical boundaries of any one country and global cooperation is necessary for its solution.

Minister Shrestha expressed this opinion at a high-level regional dialogue titled 'From Mount Everest to the Sea' held in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday, a joint project of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the Government of Nepal.
