Sunday holiday to be reviewed, talk of AI in the 40 billion 44 crore program
Biratnagar. The Koshi state government has released an annual budget of 40 billion 449 million rupees for the next fiscal year 2083 and 084. Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Vidur Kumar Lingthep presented the budget in the state assembly on Monday with the resolution of building a 'clean, happy and prosperous state'. This is the third largest budget after the establishment of the province, which is 12.74 percent more than the current financial year.
Out of the total budget, 13.97 billion 63 million rupees have been allocated to the operational side, 20.75 billion 99 million rupees to the capital side and 15 million rupees to the financial management. Internal revenue, revenue sharing from the federal government, grants and current year's cash balance are the basis for budget resource management.
