Sumana Shrestha's request to make public the name of the party that stopped the voting of migrants

Kathmandu. Former member of the House of Representatives, Sumana Shrestha, has strongly objected to the attempt to deprive Nepalis abroad of their right to vote, citing lack of time and inability to reach party consensus. Sumana criticized the commission through social media after the information that Acting Chief Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari of the Election Commission had recommended to the government that the voting system for Nepalese abroad and inter-constituency areas was "not possible".
Sumana said, "The election commission is a constitutional body. It has the mandate to conduct fair elections including all adult voters. There is no need to wait for the permission of any party."
