Strictness on foreign employment, service charge is now compulsory only through banking
Kathmandu. The Foreign Employment Department has requested the Nepali workers going for foreign employment to pay the service fee compulsorily through the banking system. The department, which is under the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, said that this request was made with the aim of fraud control, transparency in financial transactions and ensuring safe foreign employment. According to the department, the service fee to be paid to the licensed manpower company has to be paid through banking only.
