Singhdarbar security is tight, SP will be added to the number
Kathmandu. After the fire in Singha Darbar, the government has become serious about the security there. The Ministry of Home Affairs has added 3 posts each of SSP, SP and DSP in the police organization targeting Singhdarbar Gana. DSP is currently in charge of Singhdarbar Gana, but preparations are now being made to appoint SP.
After the Council of Ministers approved the Police Organization and Management Survey, posts were added to the Secretariat of the Inspector General of Police, the CIB, the Law Division and the Police Hospital. Along with this, the promotion process of SSP will also be opened. Currently, 17 SPs are competing for 10 SSP posts.
