Shankar's instructions to the UML ranks may have to go on a strike against the government, be prepared

Kathmandu. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that the country is going through a crisis because people without government experience have entered the government. Addressing the virtual meeting with the officials of the state committee of the party and the central representatives of the Mission Party Jagran, he claimed that now various interest groups are increasing their activism.

He said, "The government has proceeded in a biased and vindictive manner since the beginning." At the moment, it is moving towards arbitrary governance system by overriding the law.

He has also instructed the subordinate committee to be ready in case of having to go on street protest at any time.
