Mahendranagar. For the eleventh convention of Nepal Communist Party UML, convention representatives have been selected from all the three constituencies of Kanchanpur. Although the representatives were unanimously elected in Constituency No. 2, elections were held in Constituency No. 1 and 3 on Saturday.

Pallabaraj Bhatt with 498 votes and Bir Bahadur Thapa with 639 votes were elected as open members from Kanchanpur Constituency No. 1. Similarly, on the women's side, Kamala Chaudhary was elected with 517 votes and Kalpana Giri with 514 votes. Also, from the youth side, Kashiram Bohra has been selected for the convention representative with 521 votes.

Similarly, in Constituency-2, five representatives have been unanimous. Ran Bahadur Mahara and Vachan Bahadur Singh were unanimously elected as open members. Lakshmi Budha and Parvati Joshi have been unanimously selected on the women's side, while Praveen Bogti has also been selected on the youth side. From Constituency No. 3, RP Sarki for Dalit and Om Basnet for Youth have been elected.
