Second edition of NPL starting today, Janakpur vs Kathmandu in the first match

Kathmandu. The second edition of Nepal Premier League NPL is starting today. Former winners Janakpur Bolts and Kathmandu Gorkhaz are competing in the opening match. This match will start at 4 pm today.  The Trivi Cricket Stadium at Kirtipur in Kathmandu is ready for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League NPL. With the success of the first edition, the second edition of NPL is about to start from today with new enthusiasm, energy and expectations.

The supporters who watched the NPL in the open square in the previous edition will be able to enjoy the second edition sitting in the parapit. In addition, flood lights have also been installed in the Trivi Cricket Stadium. Some games of the second edition will be played under flood lights. The participating eight teams are also ready for the tournament. The interest of cricket lovers has increased with the participation of world famous cricketers.

The four teams that reached the play-offs last year, 9 Janakpur Bolts, Sudurpaschim Royals, Chitwan Rhinos and Karnali Yaks, are the teams that are in the eyes of many this time as well.

Apart from this, Kathmandu Gurkhaz, Biratnagar Kings, Pokhara Avengers and Lumbini Lions will also enter the field with the aim of making a 'comeback' this year. All the teams will play each other once and the play-off journey will be decided from there.

Along with the opening, the ticket price for Saturday has been kept at Rs 500 for ordinary and Rs 1500 for premium. Similarly, the price of tickets for the league stage and other days' matches has been fixed at 500 and 1000. For the games after the playoffs, 1000 rupees have been kept for the general and 2000 rupees for the premier. CAN has fixed the one-time price of seasonal tickets at Rs 15,000.
