Sangeeta Bhandari on her musical journey after 22 years, Teej song 'Ranihar' released

Kathmandu. As the great festival of Hindu women, Haritalika Teej, is approaching, the popularity of Teej songs has increased in the Nepali music market. Meanwhile, singer Sangeeta Bhandari has returned to the Nepali music scene after 22 years with the song Teej.

The original Teej song 'Ranihar', composed with lyrics by popular lyricist DP Khanal, music by famous composer Shankar Thapa 'Smile' and arranged by Vishar Acharya, was released during a program on Friday.

The song has given a positive message that Teej can be celebrated with joy, enthusiasm and intimacy even without gold jewellery. The video of the song has Yashu Bhattarai, Milsa Wagle and singer Bhandari acting and dancing.

Cinematography by Vishal Thapa and editing by Deepak Bista, the video is directed and choreographed by Keshav Raj Bhatt. The song has been released through Dash Music Nepal's official YouTube channel. Singer Bhandari said that she has returned to singing with the message that age is not a barrier to show desire, confidence and talent.
