Sandeep Lamichhane became Nepal's ODI captain

Kathmandu. Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has appointed spinner Sandeep Lamichhane as the one-day ODI captain of the national cricket team. Earlier, Rohit Poudel, who was holding the responsibility of captain of both ODI and T-20, was removed from the post and Sandeep was entrusted with the new command of ODI.

With this, Sandeep has returned to the captaincy of the Nepalese team after a gap of about four years. Earlier, he was captain in 2022 after a case of rape was filed against him by Cane.
